Summer
Summer is here. We had a blast of hot air, forest fire smoke, then cool weather again. And we got rain.
My garden is thriving, the flowers are blooming with an array of colour. Anyone who says annuals are the only way to go has not seen my perennials.
I do plant a few annuals in pots and my window basket, and then of course veggie plants are annuals but that garden is a different matter altogether.
Vines climbing evreything
Black-eyed Susan just bloomed this week
Echinacea
Plum tomatoes need more time and sunshine
Tiny tomatoes growing
A random echincea plant from seed scattered by the wind, perhaps? I will keep that one anyway.
First cucumber this week. And a small zucchini that we used in our dinner last evening. Also a cherry tomato that tasted so sweet and good.
An extra pot of flowers. Why not?
And one of my three tier-planters with herbs, strawberry, and lettuce
That’s my garden this week. What about you?
