Today I posted at Canadian Writers Who Are Christian, as I usually do once a month.

Human lives include many times of saying hello and good-bye, of opportunity to make connections with others, including the neighbours who live around us. But then someone gets ready to move away and suddenly things are not as they were before, and it’s time to pay attention to that event in whatever way works for  you.

Today my post is titled Blessings on the road ahead.

And one of my favourite of all possible Irish blessings, when we wish the other a safe journey to a new place.

May the road rise up to meet you

May the wind be always at your back

May the sun shine warm upon your face

And rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
