Aw, precious! I loved the zoo as a child. Our zoo had a petting zoo and we would beg to be able to buy food to feed baby goats, deer, etc.
Thanks. There were a few animals roaming that we could pet. We could buy special food at this zoo that was safe for animals. There were signs on the cages which animals we could feed. My granddaughter loved the young animals especially.
I liked it too. Have one of granddaughter and her mother petting a cat too, and feeding the baby goats. Had to pick one.
I love to see little kids with animals. They are both so innocent.
Thanks for your comments, Paulita. I think little kids love little animals and maybe it goes both ways.
It’s funny that it’s looking at the camera instead of the little girl! Here’s My Snapshot
The deer is looking at the camera in that pic. There were others behind me, including my family.
Thanks for visiting my blog. The gondola ride is a ride to nowhere — a nice meandering trip along the canals. As a 10-year-old, he would have been bored to death.
You’re welcome. That might be worth one ride just for the experience. 🙂
That looks like great fun!
Ha! How cute. I think maybe the deer is hoping for some treats 🙂
Thanks for visiting my blog. I checked out your photos too. Good to have family photos.
She looks fascinated by the deer. Always nice when the children can get up close to the animals too.
Hello Leslie,
My granddaughter loves animals and it was good that we could get so close. By the time we got to the deer, she had already fed the rabbits and some small goats, if only by dropping the food inside the wire.
I bookmarked your blog, by the way. I’ll be stopping by there again.
A sweet photo that captures the wonder a small child has for “wild” things, thanks for sharing.
Very adorable. Pics like this are priceless because before you know it they’re big kids, and then… on and on. Last night my husband was playing on his guitar and singing an old song I remember from when I was tiny “Turn around and your a young girl walking out the door… ” I remember singing it to my daughter when she was two. Now she’s 35.
Thank you Wanda and Diana for stopping by.
Diana, I know the song you mean, and I enjoy it too. I didn’t know your husband plays guitar.
