Looking forward to Write!Canada
Only a few days to Write! Canada conference in Guelph, Ontario. Yippee! http://www.writecanada.org/
Thinking of Belinda, who is in hospital, and her love of exclamation marks. May she be exclaiming soon, ” I am feeling much better!” What an encouragement she has been to me. What love of life she shares with those around her.
Praying for your recovery, Belinda. I’ll miss you in Guelph this week.
I look forward to the learning, the inspiration, and the socializing. And the “early bird” reading sessions, since this writer is not classified as a “night owl.”
Kudos to Ray Wiseman who will be awarded the Leslie Tarr award on Wednesday evening at the gala awards event. I picture his reaction when he got the news, “Who me?” The ever affable Ray. Congratulations!
See you there, and I second the prayers for Belinda and the kudos for Ray!
What does one call someone who’s neither “early bird” nor “night owl”… nor particularly energetic midday? Still, I know I’ll learn a lot.
Good question. Perhaps a [Solitary] Vireo, a less energetic bird with a sweet voice.
Dear Cari,
Thank you for your sweet good wishes, and your lovely card that arrived today. I drank in every line of the lovely new poem that you included, tucked away; a hidden treasure.
I will surely take you up on the invitation to call. I love nothing better than to recline in my wing-backed chair and connect.
