On the Thanksgiving weekend, we had opportunity to go on a cottage weekend with our family members who own it. We ate together, hiked, laughed, and enjoyed our time together.

The children and teens put together little musical acts and performed them on the deck and the dock. A few of them even jumped in the cold lake and quickly got out. And there was the hot tub as well.

Our host took the kids and I on a boat ride across the lake. We had our Thanksgiving dinner there, and a sample the cotton candy game and guess what flavour it is. We played board games and enjoyed the time away from work and commitments.

Oh, the colours of the leaves were glorious!
