Conferences coming up– for writers and editors
Some of my best learning experiences as a new and then more experienced writer have come from conferences or happened there. Aha moments and meeting other writers who, like me, had much to learn yet. While I was initially nervous sitting with faculty in one-to-one sessions, it became a little easier. They are people too, more experienced in writing and editing, and if we keep ourselves tuned to listening and learning from them, the learning curve shortens just a little. So for writers out there, here’s a conference you must consider. Write! Canada
Guelph Bible Conference grounds, just off Wellington Street in Guelph, Ontario.
For those who are editors and considering the field of editing, the conference by Editors’ Association of Canada is a good choice. That’s where I’ll be. Location: Toronto, Ontario.

In Halifax last year, and I had the honour of assisting with Sheree Fitch’s session, and I met many editors whom I had only spoken too on email.
