Saturday Snapshots–Still Snowing
February photos and here we are in March and though the banks of snow have diminished during some milder weather. Our picnic table had a foot of snow on it and nearly a foot around it, and since it’s in our backyard, we don’t need to shovel it. Today it’s snowing again.
The host of At Home With Books for Saturday Snapshots asks that photos be by the one posting or by a family member and that they be appropriate for all eyes. Go there and link with host and then go on a tour of the world in photos.
You must be so eager for spring! Snow is beautiful, but after awhile, you probably want to say “enough already!”
Here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Yes, ready for spring. Ready for the snow to melt, the first shoots to come through the ground. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I will make it yet to your photo.
We had a few nice days a couple of weeks ago, which lulled everyone in to a false sense of security because we all thought spring was on the way. But since then we’ve had flurries of snow, frost, freezing fog, rain, and more rain… My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/U62WN
We had some warmer weather too, then snow again. Likely it will be gone soon though. Thanks for coming by my blog and commenting. I like that. Will get to yours yet.
It’s hard for me to imagine snow right now. It’s been quite warm here in so cal, in the 80s. The snow is so beautiful though, Book Savvy Babe
You’re that much further south. We await spring! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. 🙂
Wow, I can’t remember the last time I saw that much snow, if ever!! Beautiful pictures…
Here’s my SATURDAY SNAPSHOT post.
If you live further south, it could be that you haven’t experienced so much snow. Nice to look at but sometimes hard to drive in. Thanks for stopping by my blog today. Love to have guests. 🙂
I hear you! I got up today, and snowing again, not too much, but enough to be depressing.
Before long we’ll have spring. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Our snow was gone on the ground, but here I am today watching it snow and taking the dog outside to make snow angels. Crossing my fingers that this is the last snow storm of the season!
Our snow banks have diminished somewhat, but there’s still plenty of it around. Spring, soon, I hope. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting.
That’s an awful lot of snow! I remember being so sick of it by February every year–really that is one of the main reasons we moved away from Wisconsin.
I know that feeling too, Ali. I’m ready for spring. Soon the sun will shine and the snow will melt away. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
That’s some snowfall. Great pictures.
Thanks, Louise. I appreciate you stopping by my blog.
Egad! That’s a lot of snow! I love the middle pic – very picturesque 🙂
The morning that snow had fallen, I knew I had to get outside and take some pictures. I like that one too. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. 🙂
Hi Carolyn, The photos are beautiful! I have to be hones, I’m glad we didn’t get much snow here in New Jersey this year. Foolishly, I always feel paralyzed when there’s a lot of snow. It’s crazy I know, but I do.
We’ve had winters when we didn’t get so much snow or a milder winter, but this one has beat it after a late start. When I don’t have to go anywhere—and sometimes we can’t—I enjoy a quiet day and take photos like these. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Crazy weather! We’ve had a few days of warm weather in Oregon this week, and the cherry blossoms started blooming. I feel like celebrating (except for the fact that we’re moving away from Oregon in about a week).
