Saturday Snapshots– Christmas Eve Day — No Comments

    • Thanks, Elizabeth. She’s two now and when her Mother asks what Santa says, she remembers, “Ho ho ho.”
I bought the creche at a special craft show in Toronto one year. It was my favourite of all I’ve seen. Simple, yet elegant too.
And a Merry Christmas to you and your family as well!

  1. Thanks for stopping by…I got the aerial shot of the tree/rink from the 12th floor of one of the PPG buildings, through the window. Our company used to have our office there, until we moved this year into a building I don’t like nearly as much 🙁

    • Although the tree is tall on its own, the picture had to be taken from a much higher place. Too bad you had to move from there. It looks like a nice spot.

    • Sure is. She’ll enjoy it in a different way this year. Already she likes to help people open gifts, even if it’s not her own. The question of what’s inside.

    • It really does, and this small one has a baby sister who will spend a good deal of time eating and sleeping this Christmas.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to you as well. 🙂

  2. The creche in stone is perfect. Allowing each figure to be left up to the imagination of the person looking at it. The granddaughter is pretty perfect too. Merry Christmas.

  3. I didn’t think of the pieces that way, Paulita, but you’re right. Being stone, they also don’t break like ceramic might. Thanks also for your kind comment on our little granddaughter.

Anne, I liked this photo of my granddaughter too. As for the nativity set, I wandered a whole Christmas show and went back to buy that stone set. The man had sets with more pieces, but I liked this size best.

Diane and Bev: These little ones, how they grow. She’s just as cute at 2 now and has a baby sister who will follow her around next year.

Thanks all for stopping by. Have a Merry Christmas and safe holiday!

    • Thanks, Nikki. Granddaughter has grown so much since that picture was taken last year. The creche is still in my window to remind me that the Christmas season is not yet over.
