Great welcoming committee! I love the fall decor…and over at my post today, you’ll see some pumpkins, too.
Here’s MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT and
MY WEBSITE
Thanks, and you have a great field of pumpkins and three beautiful children and the baby.
Oh very fallish indeed!
Thanks. There’s nothing like a pumpkin and scarecrow to set the scene. Must secure scarecrow a little more so the wind doesn’t knock him over.
Perfect fall decorations. Simple and perfect. I love them.
Thanks. I like things to be decorative without a lot of fuss.
Heee I love the patches on the strawman’s overalls 🙂
I thought he looked pretty good too.
Love your pumpkin! My kids carved theirs at a church event and I need to get a picture of them before they turn into mush!
Last year, one of my pumpkins turned to mush. We didn’t carve the other one and cooked it for making pumpkin pies and such. This year, I bought two small pumpkins.
Very cute welcome to the season! Great-looking scarecrow–who’s not scaring and saying “Come on in!”
Here’s mine: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/10/saturday-snapshot-october-15.html
Thanks, Bev. My husband located the scarecrow. He put it away so well last year that I couldn’t find it. It’s ready to go back out as soon as we locate the mini bale.
I love seeing this kind of picture! I live out in the boonies and we have no trick or treaters, so I don’t decorate.
Here’s Mine
My decorations are quite simple; that’s the way I like it. When I was growing up, we were on a farm. We went to maybe three houses and got home-made goodies, but only after the cows were milked and fed and the eggs were gathered.
THis is why fall is my favorite season. Great photo. Here’s Mine
Thanks. It’s been raining here the last few days and so the leaves are coming down too. Lots of colour now.
Scarecrows normally creep me out (almost as much as clowns), but that one is rather cute.
Thanks, Alyce. When we were on Cape Breton Island on the Cabot Trail last year, we saw a whole field of scarecrows. It was called Joe’s Scarecrows. Some were scary, some were very odd, and some kind of cute. The place was for sale. Hard to tell if they will be there anymore.
