Thanks, Alyce and Mary. I save the seeds each year and grow more the next. The plants are very productive this year, as you can see.
Those are beautiful morning glories!
Very pretty. That’s a nice full vine.
Thanks, Leslie. We have two of them side by side, both very full.
Gorgeous flowers! I have a trellis that needs something just like this, and I have tried several other vines but nothing has worked yet. It is on the north side of the house, so there is lots of shade. Maybe morning glories will work?
The north side of a house can present a challenge, depending on how much sun the flowers get. These flowers in the photo face west.
My husband says that if the flowers are against a west -facing wall that they will bloom until mid afternoon. That’s about how long ours bloom. I takes until late July or beginning of August until the plants have matured enough to produce blossoms. Plant seeds quite thick to produce this volume of flowers.
It’s worth a try. Want some seeds for next season?
Oh beautiful!
Reminds me of the morning glories we had at home when I was young.
great photo!

Thanks, Carol.
I didn’t know about morning glories when I was growing up. We had plenty of others, including hollyhocks that we loved.
A lovely pic. I like morning glories.
