Sharing perennials

This week I gave away plants as well as received some.  My niece wanted gaillardia and since I had quite a few, I dug up some plants  and delivered them to her.  Grape Hyacinths are in my garden in abundance and so I offered some of my overflow to a neighbour today.

My neighbour across the street offered me hostas. I didn’t have any, so I said yes. Perhaps she’ll want some grape hyacinths too. I must ask her.

A friend brought two dwarf delphiniums yesterday. I must recheck the varieties; delphiniums are something I know little about, except that they like sun.   I look forward to seeing them bloom.
